Great Allegheny Passage
Called one of America's great rail-trails, the Great Allegheny Passage links some 150 miles of biking and hiking trails connecting Cumberland, MD and Pittsburgh, PA. The connection to the C&O Canal Towpath in Cumberland, MD was completed in 2006, creating a continuous non motorized corridor, 316 miles long, from Pittsburgh to Washington, D.C.
