Our destination-quality, 12-month MBA Sustainability Degree calls students to go beyond coursework and corporate projects. A variety of student groups and student-led initiatives allow you to broaden your network and enhance the value of your degree.

NET IMPACT

Duquesne graduate students operate a campus chapter of Net Impact, a fast-growing global network of leaders, students, and individuals committed to using business for positive social, environmental, and economic impact.

Net Impact members share contacts and research tips, and contribute time to campus and regional sustainability initiatives.

With more than 10,000 members on six continents and in over 90 countries, Net Impact offers student members unparalleled access to corporate executives and other sustainability thought leaders through a program of regular tele-seminars.

CASE COMPETITION TEAMS

Duquesne MBA students have an impressive record of competing with peers from top ranked schools in national case competitions. A Duquesne MBA competition team won three out of five awards for which they were eligible, including the top ethics award, at the 2007 Ethics Fortnight, an international MBA case competition sponsored by Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. Duquesne competed in the John Molson MBA International Case Competition in Montreal in early 2008.

Duquesne will host a sustainability case competition in Spring 2008. The competition will challenge students to develop and present a creative solution incorporating social, political and environmental factors to address an actual business challenge facing a corporate sponsor.

DONAHUE BUSINESS SOCIETY

The Donahue Business Society convenes students and faculty to strengthen alumni relations and networking; assists with career placement/advancement and connects student volunteers with opportunities within local communities. For more information or to get involved, contact DBS at grad-bus@duq.edu.
